Intellectual Property & Proprietary Rights All content on this Site and within our educational programs, including text, video libraries, course materials, images, logos, and proprietary training frameworks, is the exclusive property of Eckwood Equestrian.
Specifically, The Lifted Core, The Somatic Blueprint, Total Self-Carriage Fitness, and Total Self-Carriage Clinic Series are protected intellectual property of Eckwood Equestrian. By purchasing or accessing these programs, you agree and acknowledge that all curricula, exercises, methodologies, and materials remain the sole property of Eckwood Equestrian.
Unauthorized reproduction, modification, distribution, resale, or public teaching of these proprietary frameworks is strictly prohibited. Any permitted use, citation, or reference to these materials must include prominent, clear credit to Eckwood Equestrian in accordance with Alberta laws and international intellectual property laws.

While we strive for accuracy, all product descriptions, images, and details are subject to change. Purchases are made at your own risk.
Payments & Subscriptions We accept credit and debit cards. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method.
Subscription Management Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled. You will be billed until you notify us of cancellation. You are solely responsible for managing and canceling your own subscription through your account dashboard.
To stop future charges, you must sign in to your account and complete the cancellation before your next billing date. Emailing, messaging, or notifying us outside your account does not cancel your subscription. Access remains active through the paid period, and charges already processed are non-refundable. This applies to all Total Self-Carriage memberships, The Lifted Core Cohort classes, and other recurring programs.
Refund & Expiration Policies We strive to provide clarity and fairness in our refund policies while ensuring a seamless experience for all participants. Except where prohibited by law, all sales are final outside the windows stated below. We reserve the right to deny refunds that do not meet these terms.
Total Self-Carriage Clinic Series

Fixed Clinic Dates: The dates selected at booking are the exclusive dates for the clinic series. There will be no individual rescheduled bookings or make-up days offered outside of these specific scheduled dates, unless canceled by the host.

Season Expiration: The clinic year strictly runs from November to September. All multi-session passes must be used within the current clinic year. Unused sessions do not roll over.

Upfront Selection: You must select your specific clinic dates at checkout to lock in your spots.

The 14-Day Transfer Rule: If you are unable to attend your selected date, you must notify us at least 14 days prior. You may transfer your spot to any future scheduled clinic date within the current season, provided there is an open spot.

Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 14 days before a clinic will result in the forfeiture of that session, unless your spot can be successfully filled by someone on the waitlist.

Weather Cancellations (-20°C Cutoff): Clinics run as scheduled unless canceled by the host due to unsafe travel conditions or extreme cold (-20°C). If canceled by the host, we will attempt to reschedule. If the new date does not work for you, you will receive a full refund for that session.
Personal Coaching, 10 Session Passes & Purchased Add-Ons All personal coaching packages, off-site 2-day intensives, 10 session passes, single sessions, and purchased add-on sessions are non-refundable. Session dates may be rescheduled with advance notice, subject to coach availability.
Package and Session Expiration Dates:

10-Session Riding Pass: All 10 sessions must be used within 18 months from the date of purchase.

2-Day Coaching Package / Intensives: All sessions must be used within a 12-month period from the date of purchase.

Single Coaching Sessions & Purchased Add-On Sessions: Must be used within a 12-month period from the date of purchase or booking.
Unused sessions following the expiration period are forfeited.
Travel & Facility Conditions:

Mileage is billed at $0.72 to $1.25 per kilometer based on route and travel requirements.

A signed agreement confirming the off-site facility and travel arrangements is required to secure booking.

Reasonable travel expenses such as accommodation and meals may apply and will be confirmed in writing before booking.

The client is responsible for ensuring the host facility meets safety and suitability standards.
Digital Courses & Subscriptions

30-Day Free Trials (Annual & Monthly Plans): If your plan includes a 30-day free trial (including Total Self-Carriage Fitness Annual or Monthly memberships), you must cancel before the 30-day trial period ends to avoid being charged. You are solely responsible for managing and completing this cancellation through your account dashboard prior to the trial expiration.

Post-Trial Billing: Once the 30-day free trial concludes, your payment method will automatically be charged for your chosen billing cycle (monthly or annual). Because you are granted 30 full days to evaluate the program risk-free, all post-trial charges are strictly non-refundable. Monthly plans will continue to bill monthly, and annual plans will continue to bill annually, until canceled within your account dashboard.

General Subscriptions: For all other digital products, The Independent Seat Blueprint, and recurring community memberships without a 30-day trial, you may request a full refund within 48 hours of the first charge. Charges processed outside this 48-hour window are non-refundable. Access remains active through the end of your paid billing period.
Retreats

21+ Days: Full refund if you cancel 21 or more days before the retreat start date.

7 to 20 Days: 50% refund if you cancel 7 to 20 days before the start date.

Under 6 Days: No refunds for cancellations within 6 days of the start date. You are welcome to attend unmounted if horse participation changes.

Transfers: Your spot is transferable at any time before the start date. You must email us the new participant’s full name and contact details to complete the transfer.
Processing Refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take up to 30 days to appear, depending on your bank.
General Legal Terms
Third-Party Links Our Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
Limitation of Liability Eckwood Equestrian is not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from your use of the Site or participation in mounted or unmounted activities.
Indemnity You agree to indemnify and hold Eckwood Equestrian harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.
Applicable Law These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.
Severability If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
Changes to Terms We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our operations or legal requirements. Updates will be communicated via email or posted on the Site.
