Welcome to Eckwood Equine Services. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of www.eckwoodequine.com and www.eckwoodequine.ca (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, images, logos, and downloadable materials, is the exclusive property of Eckwood Equine Services. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

While we strive for accuracy, all product descriptions, images, and details are subject to change. Purchases are made at your own risk.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled. You will be billed until you notify us of cancellation.

You are solely responsible for managing and canceling your own subscription. To stop future charges, you must sign in to your account and complete cancellation before your next billing date. Emailing, messaging, or notifying us outside your account does not cancel your subscription. Access remains active through the paid period and charges already processed are non‑refundable. This applies to all Total Self‑Carriage memberships, classes, and recurring programs.

Payments

We accept credit and debit cards. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method.

Refund Policy

We strive to provide clarity and fairness in our refund policies while ensuring a seamless experience for all participants. Below are refund policies for retreats, subscriptions, coaching intensives, group classes, and other offerings:

Retreat Refund Policy
Full refund if you cancel 21 or more days before the retreat start date.
50% refund if you cancel 7–20 days before the start date.
No refunds for cancellations within 6 days of the start date. You are welcome to attend unmounted if horse participation changes.
Your spot is transferable at any time before the start date. You must email us the new participant’s full name and contact details to complete the transfer.

Subscription Refund Policy
You are solely responsible for managing and canceling your own subscription. To stop future charges, you must sign in to your account and complete cancellation before your next billing date. Emailing or messaging us does not cancel a subscription.
If your plan includes a free trial, cancel during the trial to avoid charges.
If you are billed after a trial, you may request a full refund within 48 hours of the first charge.
Access remains active through the paid period. Charges already processed are non‑refundable except as stated above. This applies to all Total Self‑Carriage memberships, classes, and recurring programs.

Personal Coaching Refund Policy
All 2‑day intensives and single private sessions are non‑refundable. Dates may be rescheduled with advance notice, subject to availability.

Off‑Site 2‑Day Intensives
Mileage is billed at $0.72–$1.25 per kilometre based on route and travel requirements.
A signed agreement confirming the off‑site facility and travel arrangements is required to secure booking.
Reasonable travel expenses such as accommodation and meals may apply and will be confirmed in writing before booking.
The client is responsible for ensuring the facility meets safety and suitability standards.

Processing and General Terms
Refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take up to 30 days to appear, depending on your bank.
We reserve the right to deny refunds that do not meet these terms. Except where prohibited by law, all sales are final outside the windows stated above.
By purchasing, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.

Third-Party Links

Our Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

Limitation of Liability

Eckwood Equine Services is not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from your use of the Site.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Eckwood Equine Services harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our operations or legal requirements. Updates will be communicated via email or posted on the Site.
