Work on a specific area of your equitation. The racewood simulator gives you time to feel areas of your anatomy during equitation. The value is in bringing new feel and riding strategies to apply with your horse.

During the session we use balls and bands to gain insights to new movement possibilities.

Riders get a chance to experience how their anatomy is moving with the horse. This is effective at training the nervous system to be able to achieve similar results with your horse.

What to Expect in a Simulator Session

• Sessions are tailored to the student's needs.
• The coaching process starts with noticing how you feel.
• We progress through the gaits, from walk to trot and canter.
• You'll establish a baseline of your equitation from the start.
• Trish will inquire about specific areas of your equitation that you feel needs improvement or any challenges you and your coach have been trying to overcome.
• We'll target these equitation areas using equipment to enhance your awareness, enabling you to make your own corrections.
• If there are no specific areas for correction, Trish will evaluate your equitation and discuss with you what you're feeling in the saddle.
• Based on your feedback, Trish will develop a program for the remainder of the session to improve your awareness of any imbalances in your equitation.
• By the end of your session, you'll have improved your feel and will have strategies to apply to your riding at home.
